Extracurricular activities are a regular activity of the Faculty of Accounting - Auditing to support students to improve their professional capacity and have the opportunity to get closer to reality. With the goal of improving training quality and narrowing the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, on the morning of June 13, 2020, at campus 56 Hoang Dieu 2, Thu Duc district, Auditing Department , Faculty of Accounting - Auditing, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City held an extra-curricular session with the topic "Auditing PROCESS AND SKILLS OF THE BANK'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS".
Le Mai Bao Kim, who has been in the profession for nearly 10 years and is currently the Head of Consulting Department of KPMG Auditing Company, together with lecturers and students of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, attended the extracurricular event.

The content of the extracurricular session focused on two main topics:
- The process of auditing the bank's financial statements;
- Some necessary skills when participating in the audit profession

In particular, students were very interested and listened attentively to the part where the auditors shared some experiences when performing risk assessment in practice. The atmosphere of the extracurricular session became lively when the students had a dialogue with the speakers on audit-related issues, and at the same time, they also received advice and shared experiences when participating. into this profession. Besides, the quiz part with prizes helps to make the atmosphere more fun and the students better understand the issues discussed in this extra-curricular session.
