Faculty of Accounting - Auditing, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City today was formerly the Faculty of Accounting and the Faculty of Finance; Thus, the process of formation and development of Faculty of Accounting - Auditing is associated with the process. building and growing the school for more than 45 years.

The Staff of the Faculty, which was only about 10 lecturers at the early stage, now has grown to more than 30 lecturers, of which nearly 20 Associate Professors, PhDs, and PhD students. Most of the lecturers are trained from prestigious schools in Ho Chi Minh City such as Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and from high ranking universities abroad.

Faculty of Accounting - Auditing has 3 divisions which are responsible for developing specialized subjects including Division of Financial Accounting, Division of Management Accounting, and Division of Auditing.

Staff and students who have been working and studying at Faculty of Accounting - Auditing are always proud of having experienced a good training and learning environment. Graduates of the Faculty quickly get jobs at Financial Institutions, Companies, Auditing Firms... The students are all well received and appreciated by real agencies not only for their professional skills, but also proper moral character.

Most of the graduates work in the right major at commercial banks, enterprises, auditing companies, among them, they have so far held important positions such as General Director, Deputy General Director, Director, chief accountant… The brothers and sisters are always interested in supporting the Faculty in teaching, research, and material funding for students.

Faculty of Accounting - Auditing has cooperated with domestic and foreign organizations, individuals, and lecturers to exchange and research in order to develop into a large and prestigious specialized faculty in the banking system, system of training, scientific research and consulting of Vietnam and internationally in the field of accounting and auditing.

Currently, the Faculty is collaborating with many professional bodies such as VACPA, ACCA Vietnam, the Auditing Companies, Banks, etc... in the development of training in accounting and auditing in order to help student quickly meet the need of businesses and practices after graduation. Also, the leadership of Faculty of Accounting - Auditing is actively expanding and renovating the training program according to the trend in line with the content of the training majors for international economic integration and to meet the needs of the students and businesses.

The leadership and lecturers of Faculty would like to thank the Board of Rectors of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, the Governor of the State Bank, the Boards of Directors of commercial banks, VACPA, the Auditing Companies and other partners, the faculty and staff who used to have worked at the Faculty, generations of students because of their support Faculty of Accounting - Auditing over time.
