On May 24, 2025, at the Rector's Meeting Room of Ho Chi Minh City Banking University, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing solemnly organized the program "Summary of activities of the 2024-2025 school year and implementation of the 2025-2026 school year plan of the Alumni Association", marking a new development step in the journey of connecting generations of students of the Faculty.
Strengthening Connections – Promoting Tradition
At the beginning of the program, Dr. Dang Dinh Tan - Head of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing delivered an opening speech with a spirit of gratitude and orientation. In his speech, he emphasized the key role of alumni in spreading core values, preserving the spirit and tradition of the Faculty. He also pledged that the Faculty will continue to accompany and support wholeheartedly so that the activities of the Alumni Association will become increasingly professional, effective and influential.
Launch of the new term Liaison Committee
Within the framework of the program, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Thang – Deputy Head of the Faculty announced the list of the new term Alumni Liaison Board of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing. These are exemplary individuals with passion and capacity, representing the bridge between generations of students and lecturers, contributing to maintaining a strong relationship within the big family of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing.
Summary of activities in the 2024 - 2025 school year and direction of activities in the 2025 - 2026 school year.
MSc. Tran Thi Hai Van - Deputy Head of the Liaison Committee , presented a summary report of activities for the 2024-2025 school year, highlighting practical programs such as:
- Workshop “Gen Z: Understand correctly – Choose standards in the Accounting – Auditing industry”,
- Extracurricular activity "Simulating financial statement auditing practice"
- Update communication activities with the Liaison Committee fanpage attracting 75 likes and 78 followers.
The 2025–2026 school year plan focuses on:
- Expand alumni network by school year and career field;
- Diversify current student support activities, including calling for funding for foreign language tuition, professional certificates (ACCA, CFA, etc.), and connecting internships and jobs with businesses where alumni are working.
Discussion and Exchange: Cross-Generation Connection
The exchange and discussion took place in a sincere and close atmosphere with profound sharing from former students:
- Ms. Pham Thi Nhu Quynh expressed her desire to be a bridge between students and businesses, creating internship and practical work opportunities for the next generation.
- Ms. Luu Thanh Ha expressed her desire to accompany the Faculty in creating a scholarship fund for excellent students, especially those in difficult circumstances.
- Ms. Trang Dieu Ai , an active mentor of the Faculty, proposed organizing more practical activities such as workshops, soft skills seminars, career guidance - startups to comprehensively develop students.
On the lecturer side, Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong - Head of the Liaison Committee emotionally shared about the role of teachers in the journey of student maturity and wished to continue to contribute both as a lecturer and as a companion providing financial and spiritual support to the younger generation.

At the end of the program, Dr. Dang Dinh Tan once again thanked all the delegates, lecturers and alumni who attended. He affirmed that: “The presence and sharing of generations of alumni is not only a source of pride, but also a strong motivation for the Faculty to continue its mission of training and developing a cohesive and humane academic community.”
The ceremony ended in a warm, united atmosphere with a souvenir photo session, capturing meaningful moments of the emotional meeting.
The program to summarize and launch the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing is not simply a summary activity, but has truly become a symbol of cross-generational connection. From sincere sharing, practical plans to responsible commitments, the program has strongly spread the spirit of "returning - sticking together - supporting" among generations of students.
This is a memorable milestone, opening a new path for the alumni community of the Faculty: where generations accompany and support each other, contributing to the sustainable development of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing in particular and the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City in general.
