On May 18th, 2024, the Liaison Committee of the Accounting and Auditing Faculty’s Alumni Association, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking coordinated with the Student Federation of the Accounting and Auditing Faculty to organize an extracurricular program with the topic "ACCOUNTING - AUDITING PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS IN THE DIGITAL AGE".

To help students to understand the standards of professional accounting in the digital age, and to provide students with the necessary knowledge, the program also offers Q&A.
Q&A between speakers and students
Students were very interested in those issues: they should go to work or focus on studying, whether they need to take part in classes of skills and classes for professional certificate or not when the fee for these courses were very high. Through sharing in the forums, students understood that studying and participating in activities while at university was very important, the universities have fully equipped them the knowledge for a job, and they could practice their skills by actively participating in their university’s activities, and studying for professional certificates would give them better opportunities for career development. Although it was not a mandatory requirement when newly recruited, but professional certificates were required for professional accountants.
