SEMINAR "APPLICATION OF SOFTWARE IN ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING EDUCATION" AT BANKING UNIVERSITY OF HO CHI MINH CITY
To create an opportunity for sharing and discussing the application of accounting software in teaching to enhance the quality of education, on the morning of April 11, 2024, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing at the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City successfully organized the seminar "Application of Software in Accounting and Auditing Education" at the Rector's Meeting Room, No. 56 Hoang Dieu 2, Thu Duc. The seminar attracted the interest and participation of numerous experts, lecturers, and students. Particularly, the presence of speakers from businesses and professional associations made the seminar diverse and enriching.
Representatives from businesses and professional associations included Mr. Trinh Hoang Anh Tuan (Business Director, Misa Corporation), Mr. Nguyen Le Quang Vinh (Director, Think Next Co., Ltd.), Ms. Pham Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau (Head of External Relations Department, Education and Training Cluster, ACCA), Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh (General Director, Nhan Tai Viet Accounting and Auditing Co., Ltd.), and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan (Deputy General Director, ABC Accounting and Auditing Co., Ltd.).
Representatives from the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City included Mr. Tran Trong Huy (Deputy Head of Training Department), Mr. Ong Van Nam (Head of Examination and Quality Assurance Department), Mr. Dang Dinh Tan (Head of the Accounting and Auditing Department), along with lecturers and students from the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing.
Dr. Dang Dinh Tan, Head of the Accounting and Auditing Department, delivered the opening speech at the seminar.
Mr. Trinh Hoang Anh Tuan, Business Director of Misa Corporation, shared profound insights into the use of Misa accounting software in the teaching of Accounting and Auditing. He emphasized the advantages and potential of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into software, making learning and work processes more efficient and time-saving for students and users.

Mr. Nguyen Le Quang Vinh, Director of Think Next Co., Ltd., also delivered a high-quality presentation on the topic "Three Important Tools - Mindset, Skillset, and Toolset for Everyone in Their Work." He introduced the ERP system and highlighted the roles of Mindset, Skillset, and Toolset in the fields of accounting, auditing, and ERP consultancy.

Following the presentations from business representatives, the seminar transitioned into a lively discussion session on new directions and developments in the Accounting and Auditing program at the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City. Contributions from experts, lecturers, and students created a vibrant and informative exchange atmosphere.
During the discussion, Mr. Tran Trong Huy, Deputy Head of the Training Department, proposed specific measures to enhance the quality of education, including updating course content, strengthening learning material and practical support, and providing opportunities for students to participate in projects and internships at businesses.
Additionally, Mr. Ong Van Nam, Head of the Examination and Quality Assurance Department, discussed the coordination with businesses to develop practical courses and provide additional soft skills training for students, thereby enhancing their adaptability and competitiveness in the job market.
